ABOUT ME
All the jewellery is designed and handmade by me using skills I've learned at various art and craft courses I've attended. Before I made jewellery I attended Glasgow School of Art evening classes and learned how to make stained glass panels, which I still do.
I progressed from there by taking an HNC course in Fused Glass Techniques at North Glasgow College, Glasgow. Unfortunately this course no longer exists in that college. There I learned how to make bowls, plates, tiles and ornamental objects as well as jewellery - which I decided to specialise in. At that time I also did a Silversmithing Summer School Course at Glasgow School of Art.
I started to receive a lot of very good feedback and support from friends so decided to start selling the jewellery. Consequently my Fused Dichroic Glass jewellery business was establised in 2004, and my website was set up in 2009.
All the pieces are unique and individually handcrafted by me in my own studio in Glasgow using combinations of Art and Dichroic glass. All the chains are Sterling Silver as are most of the fittings, and all the bangles and bracelets are plated silver.
If you see something you like but would like it in another colour or size, I'd be happy to make it for you.
I hope you find something you like.
